Photoshop - an excellent program
This article discusses three ways to quickly create simple artistic effects using Microsoft Word - Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe Photoshop.
Using Microsoft Word
Go to the Insert tab to upload a photo using the insert image
Select the image and use the Format tab to select the drop down menu artistic effects
Browse and preview the desired artistic effects - Colors and corrections
If you download it to a blog or a website, the next step is to save it in a format that is visible on the web. The web format is usually JPEG for photographic images.
Photoshop has the ability to save on the Web, but if you do not have Photoshop, an alternative is to first save the Word document as a pdf file
Once the Word document is converted to pdf - Save As Other - Select image - select JPEG and save the file as a JPEG compatible web picture.
** Note: The Save As function of the image is available in Adobe Acrobat Pro format , but not Acrobat Reader .
Using PowerPoint
Use artistic effects in PowerPoint is similar to Word - use the Insert image to download the picture - select the picture, use the Format tab to browse through the desired artistic effects - Colors and corrections.
Unlike Word, Acrobat Pro software is not necessary to register in JPEG or PNG format. Select "Save as" PNG or JPEG can be accessed directly from the PowerPoint "Save As" from the Type menu.
Using Photoshop
On the File menu, choose New
A screen pop-up window appears.
Click OK ( Note: The default settings can be left unchanged and changed during recording)
From the File menu, click place
A screen pop-up window appears asking you to choose a file from your computer.
Select the photo or image that you work with and double-click on the image to remove the markers.
** Note: The Browse function in bridge from the file menu also works the same way as the location of files. Copy and Paste will also upload an image in Photoshop.
Now that the image is downloaded -
In the Filter menu select Filter Gallery
You will be redirected to a screen that you view different similar to those found in Word and PowerPoint artistic effects.
For example, the filter " Contours bright " give the same results as the " glowing edges " artistic effects found in Microsoft applications.
However , Photoshop has many other features that do not exist in Microsoft programs.
