How to create a black and white effect in Photoshop
In this Photoshop tutorial , we will learn how to create a background of black and white photograph. The tutorial is given below -
1) First, find a string that has the tonal range. We will use the black and white versions. Now , go to the Layers palette. You will see three strings naming option "Red" , "Green" and "Blue" .
2) Click on each Red, Green and Blue channels to select them individually. Now press Ctrl + A to select and Ctrl + C to copy it. At this point , click the composite color channel and your photo will appear in color.
3) In the next step , the channel paste as a new layer . Add a new blank layer and past the copied layer. Go to the Filter menu and select Sharpen . Enter 75 percent of the value and click OK.
4) Add a new layer on top of the last layer and select the gradient tool of Photoshop palace. You can also click G on your keyboard for quick access . Climb to the palace Photoshop and click the gradient preview area . Set your gradient colors to black and white. Click OK to exit.
5) We will create an illusion , from the upper right corner of the image . Therefore, we will drag the gradient Towards the top right corner of the image . Start dragging the right corner. Now change the Effect Mode - mix to create an abstract effect.
6) Go to the option of blending mode and select Normal . Set the opacity to 60 percent . At this point , you will get the last image. Apply Gaussian blur filter to smooth the gradient level . Select Blur Gaussian Blur and set and set the value of eight pixels.
7) Now go to the option of filling the mouth and decrease the value to 0%. This will hide the visibility of the gradient . Click on the Layer Styles and choose outer glow of the palace. Select white from the color swatch . Click OK to close the box Color Picker dialog . Set the value of the opacity to 40% and increase the level of preheating 90 pixels.
8) Click OK to exit and this is the final result.
