Photoshop Elements Tutorials - How to Hand Tint Digital Camera

If you try to upgrade an average digital camera and then adding a tinted look hand will create an impressive effect on the image that looks like a masterpiece. With just a few colors of the photo will literally turn into pictures you want to share with all your family and friends.

Now, the fist thing you need to do for this and all of the photo editing is to open the photo image and save it with a different name, so you do not lose the original content. A tip would be to always save your image on the desktop so you will always be able to find it at a later date.

Open the Layers palette and drag the background layer of the photo copy icon, forming a new copy of your photo on a different layer, then click on "Target", select the new layer and press CTRL SHIFT U to remove the color of the digital camera. Finally Ctrl L to bring up the box "Levels" dialog.

A good tip here is to remember to hit AUTO to see what it looks like and then modify from there. Use the black slider more to the right to darken the shadows, or you can move the white slider to the left to lighten the highlights and click OK when finished.

The High Representative black and white and with the layer still selected, select the eraser tool with a soft round brush set at around 5-10% opacity and about 30 pixels wide. You will now be able to change the areas where you want a little more color, but keeping in mind that you are aiming for a smooth and transparent look nice. If you must cancel at any time just hit CTRL Z.

You can increase the size of the brush to improve the areas where you want more color and then you can either merge all layers or just flatten and save your digital camera fabulous stained hand....
