Photo Special Effects

Infrared Digital Photography
What you need: filter and tripod
White balance and color connection are to be modified for this trick. Post processing with photoshop will help if your camera cannot set extreme infrared white balances. After you take some shots with the filter, your photos will come out red, pink, or purple. To fix this, just set the white balance with the filter on. If you don’t  know how to do this for your camera, just Google “how to set white balance with [your camera model].” Then you should be able to achieve this photo special effect.
If that didn’t work, set your white balance to the coolest color temperature available (2500K or lower, or Incandescent/tungsten if you can’t set a numerical value). Then just fix the color in post photo editing. In photoshop, if you used JPEG, open the image, clickImage > Auto-color. That’s it! Click Auto-contrast (or Auto levels) to make the photo more dynamic.
